Family Fun- Take a Glad Break
God filled our world with good things. He daily creates hundreds of reasons to praise Him. Get into the habit of stopping to take a "glad break" - stop to notice, to delight in and give thanks to God for that moment. This helps your child know that God is the giver of good things and that He is interested in every part of life. Simply say aloud, "Thank You, God, for this good food (lovely sunset, happy time, etc)." You both will gain a new perspective from expressing genuine thanks to God!

You are your child's most powerful teacher. Ask God to help you use that power wisely!
